Prof. Erkin Aribal is a board-certified radiologist with deep expertise in breast and interventional imaging. He completed specialized radiology training at Turkey High Specialization Training and Research Hospital in 1991 and has built a distinguished clinical and academic career since. He currently serves with the Acibadem Health Group (since 2017), where he combines patient care, image-guided interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality breast radiology services. From 2011 to 2013 he led the Breast Radiology Group of the Turkish Society of Radiology, guiding practice standards and education in breast imaging. A committed contributor to the professional community, he holds memberships in leading radiology organizations including the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE), the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the European Radiology Society. He also serves as a Memeder board member, supporting initiatives that advance radiology practice and training. His practice focuses on accurate imaging diagnosis, minimally invasive procedures, and promoting best practices in breast cancer detection and intervention through teaching and collaboration.
