Prof. Safa Gürsoy is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He completed a sports surgery residency at Rush University — Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, Sports Division in Chicago (2022) and has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2022. His clinical focus includes arthroscopic techniques, knee and hip pathology, and preventive joint surgery. He is an active member of multiple professional organizations: The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) as an associate member, the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association, the Turkish Society of Bone and Joint Surgery, and the Turkish Sports Injury Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association. He also serves on the board of the Federation of Orthopaedic Trainees in Europe (FORTE) and previously led the TOTBID Council of Assistant and Young Specialist Physicians (TOTBID-AGUH). Additionally, he is involved with the Istanbul Branch of the Turkish Sports Injuries Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association and the Hip Joint Preventive Surgery Association.
