Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay is an Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology specialist at Acibadem Maslak Hospital and Acibadem Fulya Hospital. His clinical interests include hip and knee replacement surgery, robotic surgery, sports traumatology, knee and joint injuries, ligament tears, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, and joint diseases.

He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed his Orthopedics and Traumatology training at the same faculty in 1997. He became an Associate Professor in 2003 and has held academic and departmental leadership roles at Bezmialem Vakıf University, Selçuk University, Zonguldak Karaelmas University, and Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. His professional development also includes visiting professor appointments in the United States and Germany and a research fellowship in extremity reconstruction and lengthening surgery at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
