Prof. Murat Bozkurt is a senior orthopedic surgeon and researcher with extensive international training and a strong focus on sports medicine, shoulder and elbow surgery, and arthroscopy. He completed advanced orthopaedic research at Århus University’s Kommunehospitalet Orthopaedic Research Lab in Denmark (1998–1999) and currently serves with Acıbadem Health Group (since 2018). He is an active member and representative in numerous professional societies, including the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Association, ESSKA (European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy), ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine), and the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology as the Turkish delegate. His memberships also include the International Cartilage Repair Society, SICOT, TUSYAD, the Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Association, TOTBID, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. M.D. Bozkurt’s practice combines clinical care, surgical expertise, and academic involvement, emphasizing evidence-based treatment of sports injuries, cartilage repair, and complex shoulder and elbow conditions.
