Assoc. Prof. Özgür Timurkaynak is a board-certified dermatologist with a medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (2004) and specialty training in Dermatology and Venereology completed in 2004. He began his clinical career at Acıbadem Health Group the same year and has since built a strong practice combining clinical care, procedural dermatology, and academic work. His professional interests include medical and surgical dermatology, dermatopathology, and venereology. He is active in the international and national dermatology communities as a member of the International Society of Dermatopathology, the European Academy of Dermatology, the Skin and Venereal Diseases Association, the Turkish Dermatosurgery Association, the Turkish Dermatology Association, and the Turkish Medical Association. Known for a patient-centered approach, he emphasizes evidence-based treatment, procedural safety, and ongoing education for both patients and peers.
