Prof. Vahit Emre Özden is an experienced orthopedic surgeon with a strong focus on hip and knee surgery. After joining Acıbadem Health Group in 2008, he has built a clinical and academic career centered on arthroplasty and lower‑extremity care. In 2019 he expanded his expertise through a European Hip Society Visiting Fellowship, training at leading Swiss centers including Inselspital Bern, CHUV‑Lausanne and Schulthess Klinik Zurich. He is an active member of several national and international professional organizations: European Hip Society (since 2015), Hip Knee Arthroplasty Association (since 2012), AAHKS — American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (2023), AAOS — American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as an International Affiliate (since 2010), TOTEK (Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council, since 2011), TOTBID (since 2004) and TOTDER (since 2000). His memberships reflect a commitment to continuous learning, collaboration and advancement in joint replacement and orthopedic education.
