Assoc. Prof. Suna Yapalı is an experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist with a strong focus on advanced endoscopy and gastrointestinal motility. She completed specialized training in Advanced Endoscopy and Motility at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam in 2017. Since 2008 she has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where she provides patient-centered care, performs complex endoscopic procedures, and manages a wide range of liver and digestive disorders. She is an active member of leading professional societies, including the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the European Association for the Study of the Liver, the Turkish Association for Liver Research, the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, and the National Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association. Her memberships reflect a commitment to staying current with advances in liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and endoscopic techniques. Known for combining clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, she treats patients with hepatitis, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and functional GI disorders, and performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic interventions. She remains engaged in professional development and collaboration to improve patient outcomes and advance care in hepatology and gastroenterology.
