Prof. Metin Ertem, MD

Prof. Metin Ertem, MD is a general surgeon at Acibadem Kozyatagi Hospital in İstanbul, where he works within the General Surgery unit. Dr. Ertem’s areas of expertise include digestive system surgery and the assessment and surgical management of pancreatic diseases, liver diseases and biliary tract diseases. A further part of his practice is the treatment of hemorrhoids and other anorectal diseases, an area in which he is also active through the Turkish Colon and Rectal Surgery Association.

His work also covers abdominal wall surgery, including inguinal hernia repair and umbilical hernia repair, as well as thyroid surgery and mastectomy.
