Prof. Vildan Ertekin is a Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. She completed advanced training at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and joined Acibadem Health Group in 2014, where she continues to provide clinical care and expertise in pediatric digestive and liver disorders and nutritional management. Her clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases in children, nutritional support, and management of complex metabolic and enteral/parenteral nutrition needs. She is active in professional education and collaborative research, aiming to improve outcomes for children with chronic and acute digestive conditions. She holds memberships in several professional organizations: the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Society; the Turkish Pediatric Association; the Child and Adolescent Diabetes Association; the Society for Clinical Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition; and the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
