Prof. Dr. Halil Koyuncu

Prof. Dr. Halil Koyuncu is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital, working in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Treatment, and Spine Health units. His clinical interests include myalgia, fibromyalgia, lumbar disc herniation, cervical disc herniation, frozen shoulder syndrome, spinal posture problems such as cervical straightening and lumbar hypolordosis, sports injuries, knee injuries, and spine health.

He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1979 and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986. He became Associate Professor in 1991 and Professor in 2000 in the same field. His academic and administrative roles have included Head of the Department of Rehabilitation at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Senate Member of Istanbul University Rectorate, member of the General Directorate of Istanbul University Hospitals, and membership in the Istanbul University Scientific Research Projects unit and the board of the Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
