Prof. Levent Erişen is a senior otorhinolaryngologist with a long-standing academic and clinical career. He earned his medical degree in 2001 from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and has held a professorship in the field. From 2009 to 2019 he served on the faculty of Acıbadem University School of Medicine in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, contributing to education, clinical care, and research. His professional interests span head and neck surgery, laryngology, oncology, rhinology, and sleep medicine. He is an active member of numerous national and international societies, including the European Head and Neck Society, American Head and Neck Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Balkan Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, European Academy of Sleep Medicine, and European Sleep Research Society. National memberships include the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association, Turkish Rhinology Association, Turkish Sleep Medicine Association, Turkish Oncology Group (Head and Neck Cancers Working Group), and multiple local medical and specialty associations in Bursa.
