Prof. Dr. Ferhan Öz

Prof. Dr. Ferhan Öz is an otorhinolaryngology specialist at Bakırköy Hospital, with clinical interests that include tonsil surgery, adenoids, sinusitis, septoplasty, snoring, dizziness, hoarseness, swallowing difficulty, and head and neck cancers including laryngeal cancer. His practice focuses on evaluating and managing ear, nose, throat, voice, and swallowing conditions with a careful, patient-centered approach.

He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and went on to complete otorhinolaryngology training at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1989. He also trained at the University of Iowa Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 1988, became Associate Professor in otorhinolaryngology, and was appointed Professor in 2000. His career has included roles at Siirt Sağlık Eğitim Merkezi, Kütahya Military Hospital, New England Medical Center in Boston as a Visiting Clinician, and Acıbadem Healthcare Services since 2001.
