Assoc. Prof. Selim Ergün is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery. He completed an observership at the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in 2018, where he deepened his clinical knowledge and exposure to advanced techniques in arthroscopy and sports-related care. Currently affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group since 2025, he provides patient-centered care focused on restoring function and mobility for athletes and active individuals. His clinical interests include knee and ankle injuries, minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, and comprehensive rehabilitation strategies. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association (TOTBID) and its Foot and Ankle Surgery Branch, as well as the Turkish Sports Injuries Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery society.
