Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ece Orhon

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ece Orhon is a psychiatrist with clinical interests that include anxiety, major depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social phobia, insomnia, atypical psychosis, personality disorders, attention and hyperactivity problems, and bulimia nervosa. Her work focuses on the assessment and management of a broad range of adult mental health conditions.

She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1974 and continued her psychiatry training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Psychiatry Department, where she served as an assistant doctor from 1974 to 1978 and as a specialist doctor from 1978 to 1980. She also worked at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and the Health, Culture and Sports Department as a psychiatry specialist between 1980 and 1985. In 1985, she received the title of Associate Professor at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Psychiatry Department. Her subsequent experience includes private practice, psychiatric consultancy at Bilkent University, work as a psychiatry specialist at Zekai Tahir Burak Maternity Hospital Menopause Clinic, and service within Acıbadem Healthcare Services since 2002.
