Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Subaşı

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Subaşı is a thoracic surgeon at Atakent Hospital, with a clinical focus on bronchoscopy, lung surgery, uniportal VATS, pneumothorax, chest wall deformities such as pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum, chest wall tumors, diaphragm disorders, and lung and other thoracic cancers. His practice is centered on the assessment and surgical treatment of diseases affecting the lungs, chest wall, and thoracic cavity.

He graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed his thoracic surgery training at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. His career has included roles in emergency and primary care, thoracic surgery residency, state service, military service, and thoracic surgery positions at Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital, Ankara Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital, Ankara City Hospital, and İstanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine. In 2025, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine.
