Prof. Hamdı Karakayalı is a seasoned transplant surgeon with a long-standing commitment to clinical excellence, education, and national transplant policy. He served on the faculty of Başkent University Hospital from 1998 to 2005 and has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group since 2020. His work spans kidney and liver transplantation, combining hands-on surgical care with leadership in policy and professional education. Active in the international transplant community, he holds memberships with The Transplantation Society (World Transplantation Society), the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation (MESOT), and the Turkey Organ Transplant Association.
