Bahruz Zamanov, MD

Bahruz Zamanov, MD is a pediatrician at Acibadem Dr. Sinasi Can (Kadikoy) Hospital in İstanbul, where he works within the hospital’s Pediatrics unit. Dr. Zamanov graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. Between 2014 and 2016 he trained at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa-CTF in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. In 2020 he completed his training at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Department of Child Health and Diseases. From 2021 to 2022 he undertook Neonatal Intensive Care Subspecialty Training at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa-CTF as a research assistant. Clinical focus

A substantial part of Dr. Zamanov’s work concerns the care of newborns. This includes newborn screening tests and structured newborn follow-up, the evaluation and management of neonatal jaundice, and the use of phototherapy where it is clinically indicated. He also follows infants born prematurely and babies affected by neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, conditions that often require careful monitoring over time and coordination with other specialists as needed.

Beyond the neonatal period, Dr. Zamanov provides well-child care, which involves monitoring growth and development at each stage of childhood and addressing routine health questions. He also evaluates and treats pediatric upper respiratory tract illnesses, which are among the most common reasons children are brought to a pediatrician. The approach in each case depends on the child’s age, history and clinical findings, and follow-up is planned according to individual needs.

How Dr. Zamanov works with international patients

Dr. Zamanov consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for families who speak other languages.
