How Dr. Aybar works with international patients

Dr. Aybar consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. For patients traveling from abroad, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior medical reports and imaging, such as MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes, and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the visit to the clinic. A first consultation with Dr. Aybar typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of existing imaging and any previous treatments, a clinical examination, and a discussion of the available options and the recommended next steps. A video consultation can also be arranged for international patients who wish to discuss their situation with Dr. Aybar before deciding whether to travel, with the understanding that emergency conditions require in-person assessment and that a remote consultation cannot replace urgent care.
