Uzm. Psk. International patients are supported by the international patient team, which coordinates the collection of prior reports, including any previous psychological or psychiatric assessments, discharge summaries and, where relevant, laboratory or imaging results, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of previous treatments and any existing reports, a clinical assessment and a discussion of the possible options, including whether ongoing psychotherapy or counseling is suitable. Interpreters can be arranged so that sessions can be conducted in a language the patient is comfortable using.
