Ece Ataç Geriş, Audiologist

Ece Ataç Geriş is an audiologist working within the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) unit at Acibadem Kozyatagi Hospital in İstanbul. Her clinical work focuses on hearing loss, hearing loss in children, and audiometry. Ece Ataç Geriş speaks Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. The Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as previous hearing test results, MRI or CT reports, laboratory results and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing test results and previous treatments, a clinical assessment and a discussion of the options. Video consultation is available for international patients who wish to discuss their situation before traveling, although hearing tests themselves require an in-person visit.
