Assoc. Prof. Filiz Tubaş, MD

Assoc. Prof. Filiz Tubaş, MD is a pediatrician at Acibadem Kayseri Hospital in Kayseri, where she works within the Pediatrics unit and provides care for infants, children, and adolescents. How Dr. Tubaş works with international patients

Dr. Tubaş consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for families who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound, X-ray, MRI or CT reports, laboratory results, newborn screening results, growth records, and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the child’s history and symptoms, a review of existing test results and previous treatments, a clinical examination including growth and developmental assessment, and a discussion of the options with the parents. Families who are not yet in Turkey may request a video consultation with Dr. Tubaş, during which available records can be reviewed and initial questions discussed; a face-to-face examination remains necessary for a full pediatric assessment.
