Güner Esra Kutlu, MD

Güner Esra Kutlu, MD is a pediatrician in the Pediatrics unit at Acibadem Atasehir Hospital in İstanbul. With more than 35 years in medicine, her work centers on child and adolescent health, including routine healthy child follow-up, newborn follow-up, and the assessment of common childhood conditions such as iron deficiency, anemia, and rickets.

Dr. Kutlu graduated from İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and completed her specialization at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Department of Child Health and Diseases in 1996. Her professional experience began at İncirli Hospital (1998–2000), followed by private practice (2000–2007) and a position at Koşuyolu Medipol Hospital (2007–2012). From 2012 to 2026 she worked at Anadolu Sağlık Ataşehir Medical Center, and in 2025 she joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services. She took up her current hospital position in 2026. Dr. Kutlu is a member of Türk Pediatri Kurumu.

Clinical focus

Dr. Kutlu’s clinical practice covers the health of children from the newborn period through adolescence. In newborns, this includes newborn follow-up, newborn screening tests, and newborn jaundice treatment. How Dr. Kutlu works with international patients

Dr. Kutlu speaks Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for families who prefer another language. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as laboratory results, growth records, previous pediatric or newborn reports, discharge summaries, and any ultrasound or X-ray reports, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the child’s history and current symptoms, a review of existing results and previous treatments, a clinical examination, and a discussion of the options. Video consultation is available for international patients who wish to discuss a child’s case before traveling or as part of follow-up.
