Assoc. Prof. Günseli Bozdoğan, MD

Assoc. Prof. Günseli Bozdoğan, MD is a pediatrician at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, where she works in the Pediatrics unit. From 2004 to 2007 she worked as a pediatric immunology specialist at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, and in 2005 she joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services. She is a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinic Immunology and the Turkish Allergy Immunology Association. Her published work, as co-author, includes papers on gene polymorphisms in children with asthma, severe combined immunodeficiency, chronic granulomatous disease, the evaluation of children with recurrent respiratory tract infections, and case reports in pediatric immunology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Clinical focus

Dr. Bozdoğan’s practice centers on children with allergic and immunological problems. In pediatric allergy and allergic diseases, this involves assessing children whose symptoms may be related to allergic triggers and planning appropriate evaluation and management. In pediatric immunology and immune system disorders, she sees children with recurrent or unusual infections in whom an underlying immune problem is being considered, drawing on her training in pediatric immunology and allergic diseases.

She also assesses pediatric respiratory conditions, which in children often overlap with allergy and immune function, and pediatric skin diseases, where allergic or immune mechanisms may play a role.
