Neşe Ergül, MD

Neşe Ergül, MD is a pediatrician at Acibadem Atasehir Hospital in İstanbul, where she works in the Pediatrics unit and provides care for children and adolescents. She is a member of AOCNA (The Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association), the Istanbul Medical Chamber and Türk Pediatri Kurumu.

Clinical focus

Dr. Ergül’s areas of expertise include Kawasaki disease, upper respiratory tract illnesses in children, constipation in children, urinary incontinence in children and hematuria in children. She also evaluates and follows children with iron deficiency and anemia and addresses general child and adolescent health.

In infants, her work covers lactose intolerance, infant colic and infant gas pain. Assessment in these areas typically involves a review of the child’s history and symptoms together with a clinical examination, and the approach is adapted to the child’s age and individual findings. Where further investigation or follow-up is considered appropriate, this is discussed with the family.

How Dr. Ergül works with international patients

Dr. Ergül consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for families who speak other languages.
