Dr. Özkan Kobak

Dr. Özkan Kobak is a psychiatrist at Acibadem Dr. Sinasi Can (Kadikoy) Hospital in İstanbul, where he practices within the Psychiatry & Psychology unit. How Dr. Kobak works with international patients

Dr. Kobak speaks Turkish and English. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior medical reports, including previous psychiatric or psychological assessments, discharge summaries, laboratory results and any relevant imaging, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of previous treatments and existing reports, a clinical assessment and a discussion of the options. Interpreters can be arranged for patients who do not speak Turkish or English. Video consultations are also available for international patients, which may be suitable for an initial discussion of a case or for follow-up after treatment, where clinically appropriate.
