Zeynep Kuzu, MD

Zeynep Kuzu, MD is a specialist in Child Health and Diseases at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, where she works within the Pediatrics unit. In 2026 she joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services.

Clinical focus

Dr. Kuzu’s clinical work is centered on general pediatrics and the broad field of child health and diseases. A central part of her practice is pediatric evaluation: taking a detailed history from the child and the family, performing a clinical examination and reviewing any previous findings in order to reach an assessment and, where appropriate, plan further investigation or treatment. Her earlier years in emergency departments and her subsequent specialist training inform a structured approach to assessing children across a range of presentations.

She also provides pediatric follow-up care, in which a child’s condition, development and response to any treatment are reviewed over time. Follow-up visits allow earlier findings to be reassessed, ongoing concerns to be discussed with the family and the care plan to be adjusted as the child’s needs change. The scope and frequency of follow-up are decided individually, based on the clinical picture.

How Dr. Kuzu works with international patients

Dr. Kuzu consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for families who speak other languages. Before a visit, the international patient team coordinates the collection of prior medical reports and imaging, arranges appointments and organizes the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the child’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the possible options with the family. Video consultation is available for international patients, which can be used for an initial discussion or, where suitable, for follow-up after a visit to the hospital. Any recommendations made remotely are subject to confirmation through in-person clinical assessment when this is considered necessary.
