Abdurrahman Yaycı, MD

Abdurrahman Yaycı, MD is an anesthesiologist at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, where he works in the Anesthesiology & Reanimation unit. The core of Dr. Yaycı’s practice is perioperative anesthesia care. This refers to the anesthetic management of patients around the time of a procedure: the period before anesthesia is given, the administration and monitoring of anesthesia during the procedure itself, and the phase of recovery that follows. Anesthesiology in this setting is closely coordinated with the surgical or interventional team treating the patient, and the anesthetic approach is considered in the context of the individual patient and the planned procedure.

His work also includes reanimation and intensive care. Reanimation and intensive care are concerned with the support and monitoring of patients whose condition requires close observation, for example after a procedure or when vital functions need to be supported. Dr. Yaycı’s earlier years in internal medicine and his long tenure in a university department of anesthesiology and reanimation form the basis of his approach in these areas. How Dr. Yaycı works with international patients
