Aslıhan Sanem Özata, MD

Aslıhan Sanem Özata, MD is an anesthesiologist practicing in the Anesthesiology & Reanimation unit at Acibadem Atakent Hospital in İstanbul. Between 2011 and 2013 she held the academic position of Assistant Associate Professor Doctor at the İstanbul Bilim University Vocational School of Health Services. She joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services in 2013. Dr. Özata is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Intensive Care Association.

She is a co-author of Infiltration with ropivacaine plus lornoxicam reduces postoperative pain and opioid consumption (J Anesth, 2005) and of Adenotonsillectomy in a patient with Silver-Russell syndrome and obstructive sleep apnea (Otolaryngology Applications, 2013). The suitability of any anesthetic or intensive care approach depends on the individual patient’s condition and is determined after clinical evaluation.

How Dr. Özata works with international patients

Dr. Özata speaks Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
