Hasan Oluk, MD

How Dr. Oluk works with international patients

Dr. Oluk speaks Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the international patient team coordinates the collection of prior medical records, such as laboratory results, imaging reports (for example MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound), pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation with Dr. Oluk typically covers the patient’s medical history and current symptoms, a review of existing test results, imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination, and a discussion of the available options. For patients who are unable to travel initially, or who wish to discuss their situation beforehand, a video consultation is available for international patients.
