Levent Şener, MD

Surgical procedures within his practice include anterior cervical fusion and cervical cage-plate fixation.

His cranial and craniofacial experience includes hypothalamic hamartoma, neonatal scalp teratoma, fronto-orbital sphenoidal osteosarcoma and facial osteosarcoma. Dr. Şener has co-authored journal articles on several of these topics, including case reports on paravertebral muscle metastases as a cause of low back pain, an infected lumbar dermoid cyst, a teratoma presenting as a scalp mass in a newborn, hypothalamic hamartoma associated with a craniopharyngeal canal, multiple myeloma of the thoracic spine, fronto-orbital sphenoidal and facial osteosarcoma, anterior cervical fusion with a cage-plate system, and spinal cord compression due to Brucella granuloma. Many of these publications address uncommon presentations, reflecting an interest in careful differential diagnosis when symptoms do not follow a typical pattern.

How Dr. Şener works with international patients

Dr. Şener consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for other languages.
