Asst. Prof. Mahmut Ozan Fındık, MD

Asst. Prof. Mahmut Ozan Fındık, MD is an otorhinolaryngology specialist who practices in the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) unit at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul. He has more than 17 years in medicine. Dr. Fındık graduated from İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and completed his residency in Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he worked in the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases between 2010 and 2015.

His further education includes a program in Health Institutions Management at Anadolu University (2013), training in electroneurophysiology at Üsküdar University (2015), training in neurohistochemistry at Marmara University Health Sciences Institute (2016), and training at World Hearing Center Kajetany, The Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing (2016). Before his current position, he worked at Gelibolu Bolayır Health Center (2009–2010), Kartal Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital ENT Clinic (2015–2016) and Ağrı State Hospital (2016–2017). He joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services in 2017. Dr. Fındık is a co-author of peer-reviewed publications in journals including Acta Oto-Laryngologica, Clinical and Experimental Otorhinolaryngology and Praxis of ORL, on topics such as the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, pharyngocutaneous fistula closure, submandibular region schwannoma, and the management of severe upper airway obstruction in infectious mononucleosis.

Clinical focus

Dr. Fındık’s clinical work covers a broad range of ear, nose and throat conditions in both adults and children. In nasal and sinus surgery, his areas of expertise include septoplasty for a deviated nasal septum, rhinoplasty, and septorhinoplasty, which addresses the nasal septum and the external shape of the nose in a single operation. He also performs tonsil surgery and adenoid surgery, as well as middle ear surgery.

His practice further includes oncological surgery of the head and neck region, thyroid surgery, and the evaluation of vertigo and balance disorders. In each case, the choice between observation, medical treatment and surgery depends on the individual diagnosis, symptoms and general health, and is discussed with the patient after a clinical assessment.

How Dr. Fındık works with international patients
