Prof. Melih Paksoy is a board-certified general surgeon with a longstanding commitment to surgical excellence and patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and has since developed deep expertise in abdominal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, hernia repair, colorectal procedures, and senology. Since 2006 he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, contributing to clinical practice, surgical education, and multidisciplinary care. His work emphasizes evidence-based treatment, minimally invasive techniques when appropriate, and clear communication with patients and families. Active in the professional community, Prof. Paksoy is a member of multiple national societies, including: – Hernia Association – Turkish Medical Association – National Surgical Association – Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery – Breast Science (Senology) Association – Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Association He continues to engage in continuing education, collaborative research, and mentorship of younger surgeons, aiming to improve surgical outcomes and patient quality of life.
