Assoc. Prof. Mert Akan, MD

Assoc. Prof. Mert Akan, MD is an anesthesiology specialist with a subspecialty in intensive care. In the same year he worked as a specialist doctor at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital before moving to the Dokuz Eylül Faculty of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, where he served as a specialist doctor from 1999 to 2006 and as an assistant professor from 2006 to 2012. In 2012 he obtained Medical Specialization Board certification in Intensive Care, and from 2012 to 2015 he was an assistant professor in the Dokuz Eylül Faculty of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation Division of Intensive Care.
