Prof. Nezihe Seden Küçücük, MD

Prof. Nezihe Seden Küçücük, MD is a Radiation Oncology specialist at Acibadem Bodrum Hospital in Muğla, where she practices within the hospital’s Radiation Oncology unit. Her procedural focus is on radiotherapy and brachytherapy. Radiotherapy delivers radiation to a defined target area from outside the body, whereas brachytherapy places a radiation source close to or inside the tissue being treated. Whether one of these approaches, or a combination, is appropriate can only be assessed after a careful review of imaging, pathology results and previous treatments, and any recommendation is discussed with the patient before a plan is agreed. How Dr. Küçücük works with international patients

Dr. Küçücük consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, for example MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit itself.
