Prof. Dr. Nurzen Sezgin

Prof. Dr. Nurzen Sezgin is a Clinical Laboratory specialist at Acibadem Adana Hospital in Adana. Her work is centered on clinical biochemistry and laboratory medicine, supporting the evaluation and monitoring of patients through laboratory testing. She has more than 34 years in medicine and has worked within Acıbadem Healthcare Services since 2014, when she joined the hospital in Adana, where she continues to practice.

Dr. Sezgin graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed her specialty training in Medical Biochemistry at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. From 1997 to 2001 she was a Research Assistant in the İnönü University Faculty of Medicine Department of Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry, and she continued there as a Specialist Doctor from 2001 to 2002. She then worked as a Specialist Doctor in the Başkent University Faculty of Medicine Department of Biochemistry from 2002 to 2008, and in 2007 she became an Associate Professor in the Başkent University Faculty of Medicine Biyokimya Department.
