Resül Altınayak, MD

In 2005–2006 he served as Biochemistry Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Mardin State Hospital Laboratory under the Ministry of Health, while also working as a Biochemistry Specialist at Private Mar-Tıp Laboratory. From 2006 to 2010 he was Biochemistry Specialist, Laboratory Supervisor and Deputy Responsible Manager at Private Divan Hayat Hospital, and in 2010–2011 he was Biochemistry Specialist and Laboratory Supervisor at Medicina Private Van Hospital Biochemistry Laboratory. He joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services in 2011. Dr. Altınayak is a member of the Türk Biyokimya Association, the Turkish Clinical Biochemistry Association and the Turkish Microbiology Association. His published work includes The Antioxidant Effect of Free Bilirubin on Cumene-Hydroperoxide Treated Human Leukocytes (General Pharmacology, 2001) and Comparison of the Performance of Coulter Dacos and Technicon Axon Autoanalyzers within the Welcome Quality Control Program (Journal of Akdeniz University Medical Faculty, 1995).

• Laboratory management – the organization and supervision of laboratory operations, an area in which he has held supervisor, deputy responsible manager and deputy chief physician roles in both public and private settings.

How Dr. Altınayak works with international patients

Dr. Altınayak works in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. The Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, including laboratory and pathology results, MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound reports, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit.
