Clinical focus

Dr. Kılıç’s practice centers on spine health. He evaluates and treats patients with scoliosis, a sideways curvature of the spine, and lumbar hypolordosis, in which the normal inward curve of the lower back is reduced. Both conditions can affect posture and may be associated with back pain; assessment usually relies on a clinical examination together with imaging of the spine.

He also sees patients with lumbar disc herniation and cervical disc herniation, in which disc material in the lower back or neck presses on nearby nerve structures. Symptoms can include pain, numbness or weakness in the arms or legs, depending on the level involved. Dr. Kılıç reviews the patient’s history, examination findings and imaging to establish the source of the symptoms and to discuss which treatment approaches may be appropriate for the individual case. How Dr. Kılıç works with international patients

Dr. Kılıç consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
