4D Breast Ultrasonography

4D Breast Ultrasonography

Provides new images for each section of the breast

ABVS (Automatic Breast Volumetric Scanner) is a new technological development in breast mammography, and is also referred to as automatic breast ultrasonography, volumetric breast ultrasonography or 4 dimensional ultrasonography.

The 4 dimensional breast ultrasonography technique allows imaging of the breast under standard exposures. The image sets obtained are then evaluated on a special screen, by a specialized physician. The technique allows re-creation and re-measuring of images on each plane section on the screen, and thus, minimizes imaging errors of the users and prevents “missing” suspicious occurrences associated with the breast.
