Providing new images for each section of the breast
The automatic breast volumetric scanner is a new technological development in breast mammography. It is also known as automatic breast ultrasonography, volumetric breast ultrasonography, or four-dimensional ultrasonography.
The four-dimensional breast ultrasonography technique allows imaging of the breast under standard exposures. The image sets obtained are evaluated on a special screen by a specialized physician. The technique allows for the recreation and remeasuring of images on each plane section, which minimizes user imaging errors and ensures suspicious occurrences in the breast are not missed.
