Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caner Baran

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caner Baran is a urologist with clinical focus in andrology, urinary incontinence and bladder health, urological oncology, prostate diseases, and treatment of sexual dysfunction. His areas of interest include urological cancers, prostate cancer, bladder diseases, kidney diseases, erectile dysfunction, penile curvature, pediatric urology, sexually transmitted diseases, circumcision, cystoscopy, and male reproductive health.

He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his urology training at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in 2010. In 2013–2014, he served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Urology, Section of Andrology, at Tulane University School of Medicine. His career has included urology specialist roles at Kahramanmaraş Göksün State Hospital, Özel Güney Adana Hospital, Adana Seyhan State Hospital, Adana Çukurova State Hospital, and Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital, where he later served as Chief Assistant and Associate Professor. In 2024, he worked in the Department of Urology at Yeni Yüzyıl University Özel Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital.
