What is Your Care Path?
It is a free planning tool from Acibadem International. For an area of care it shows the departments that look after it, physicians you could meet, the usual first steps, how a visit is organised and how to reach Istanbul. It is general information assembled from our published pages — not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a price offer.
Is this a diagnosis or a treatment plan?
No. A treatment plan is written by a physician after reviewing your medical reports. Your Care Path only helps you see where to start and what usually happens next; a physician confirms every step before any treatment is planned.
Is anything I choose stored or sent?
No. Your choices stay in your browser and nothing is sent to us until you decide to fill in the form or message us. If you copy the link to your path, your choices travel in the part of the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to websites.
How are the physicians chosen?
By data, not by ranking claims. The tool shows professors and associate professors of the departments for that area who work at the group’s flagship Istanbul hospitals — Maslak, Altunizade and Atasehir — in rotation. Which physician is right for you is decided after your reports are reviewed.
How accurate are the flight times?
They are scheduled non-stop flight times to Istanbul Airport, checked by hand against published timetables and shown with the month they were checked. Where a route has not been verified, the tool shows no duration rather than an estimate.
What happens when I ask a doctor to review my path?
You leave your name and phone number, and the international patient team replies within 24 hours. They ask for any reports you have, and a physician from the relevant department reviews them. You receive a plan and a written quote before you decide to travel — free and without obligation.
Does it cost anything?
No. The planner is free, and so are the review of your reports and the written quote that follows.
What if I have urgent symptoms?
Do not use this page. Severe or sudden symptoms — chest pain, fainting, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke or heavy bleeding — need emergency care where you are. Call your local emergency number.
