Her published work, appearing in Cureus, Pamukkale Medical Journal and Ann Diagn Pathol, addresses HPV persistence, the vaginal microbiota and persistent disease after excisional treatment of high-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions.

Clinical focus

Dr. Avşaroğlu sees women with a range of gynecological and reproductive concerns. In reproductive medicine she evaluates fertility and infertility, including low ovarian reserve as reflected by AMH, and her training in assisted reproductive techniques informs this part of her practice. She also manages menstrual irregularities and polycystic ovary syndrome, and follows women with HPV infection, an area that is also the subject of her research.

A second focus is the menopausal transition and the pelvic floor. Dr. Avşaroğlu assesses and treats urinary incontinence and other bladder health concerns, drawing on her urogynecology observership, and she provides care for women experiencing menopause.
