Dr. Çelik graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2010, where he worked from 2005 to 2010. He subsequently held positions at Kayseri Develi Devlet Hospital (2011–2012), Kütahya Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital (2012–2014), İstanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital (2014–2016) and Acıbadem Healthcare Services (2015). From 2016 to 2019 he worked in Gynecologic Oncology at İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine, completing his training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery there in 2019. He then worked at İstanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital from 2019 to 2023. He is a member of The European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Oncology Association (MİJOD), the Turkish Gynecologic Oncology Association (TRSGO), the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association (TRSGO). His published research addresses topics such as endometrial cancer, endometriosis, adenomyosis, surgical site infection after hysterectomy, postpartum hemorrhage and tubo-ovarian abscess management.
Clinical focus
A significant part of Dr. Çelik’s work concerns gynecologic oncology. He evaluates and treats women with ovarian cancer and other gynecologic cancers, and his training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery supports the surgical side of this care. He also performs hysterectomy when this is indicated, and he assesses women with uterine prolapse, HPV-related concerns and endometriosis, including the planning of endometriosis treatment.
