Clinical focus
A significant part of Dr. Berkiten’s practice is head and neck surgery, including the evaluation and surgical treatment of head and neck cancers, oral cancer, and tongue and tongue-base cancer. These conditions are assessed on the basis of the patient’s history, clinical examination, imaging and pathology results, and treatment is planned according to the individual situation.
Her otology and neurotology work includes vertigo and balance disorders, hearing loss in children, and cochlear implants.
