İkbale Yılmaz Can, MD is a pediatrician in the Pediatrics unit at Acibadem Dr. Sinasi Can (Kadikoy) Hospital in İstanbul. Clinical focus

A large part of Dr. Can’s practice is preventive and developmental care. This includes newborn follow-up in the first weeks and months of life, well-child care with monitoring of growth and development, and childhood vaccinations. She also evaluates infant gas pain, a frequent concern for parents of young babies, and advises families on how to recognize and manage it.

Dr. Can diagnoses and treats pediatric upper respiratory tract infections and other pediatric infectious diseases. She also follows children with iron deficiency and pediatric anemia, where evaluation typically involves a review of the child’s diet and history together with laboratory testing, followed by treatment and monitoring as indicated. In children with nutritional disorders, she provides ongoing monitoring of intake, growth and related laboratory findings so that the care plan can be adjusted over time.
