Prof. Javad Parvizi is a leading orthopedic surgeon and researcher with a long-standing international reputation in joint reconstruction and musculoskeletal infection. He earned his Master of Orthopedics (MS) from the Mayo Foundation, Rochester (1997–1999) and has continued to advance clinical care, research, and education throughout his career. Currently affiliated with Acibadem Health Group (2024), Prof. Parvizi holds leadership roles across multiple organizations and foundations. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Parvizi Surgical Innovation and has been an active board member of several professional bodies, including the Musculoskeletal Infection Society (MSIS), Eastern Orthopedic Association, Orthopedic Overseas, and the Muller Foundation of North America. He has also been honored with presidency and board positions within MSIS.
