Merve Vural, Clinical Psychologist

Merve Vural is a specialist psychologist at Acibadem Eskisehir Hospital in Eskişehir, where she works within the Psychiatry & Psychology unit. She has more than eight years of professional experience in the field and sees patients presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns, from mood and anxiety-related conditions to difficulties in relationships and everyday functioning.

Her academic training took place at three institutions. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Istanbul University of Health Sciences (2018–2022) and, in parallel, an Associate Degree in Justice at Istanbul Medipol University (2019–2021). Her Master’s Degree (with Thesis) in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Beykent University is recorded for the period 2023–2026. This includes collecting prior reports and records, such as previous psychological or psychiatric evaluations, discharge summaries and any relevant laboratory results, before arranging appointments and organising the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and current symptoms, a review of existing reports and previous treatments, a clinical evaluation and a discussion of the options that may be appropriate. Where needed, interpreters can be arranged so that patients can describe their concerns in their own language and understand the information they receive during the consultation.
