Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karaçelik

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karaçelik is a cardiovascular surgeon with clinical interests spanning vascular surgery, varicose vein treatment, wound care, lymphedema treatment, and lipedema treatment. His scope of practice also includes Buerger disease, peripheral vascular occlusions, aortic aneurysm, congenital heart diseases, and heart valve diseases.

He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and completed his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He became an Associate Professor at Ege University in 2015 and was appointed Professor at Health Sciences University in 2023. His career has included specialist roles at Özel Ege Sağlık Hospital, SSK Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Hospital, Health Sciences University, İzmir Tepecik SUAM, and Health Sciences University, İzmir Dr. Behçet Uz Children’s Hospital. In 2013, he was an observer clinician at the Heart Center, Congenital Heart Surgery, Texas Children’s Hospital.
