Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Seçkin

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Seçkin is a neurologist at İzmir Kent Hospital, where he works in the Neurology unit as well as dedicated services for dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, aging, and movement disorder treatment. His clinical interests include Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, migraine, movement disorders, and brain pacemaker therapies.

He graduated from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed neurology training at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2011. His academic and international training includes cognitive neurology and Alzheimer’s disease at Northwestern University in Chicago, research experience at the Brain and Creativity Institute of the University of Southern California, doctoral studies in philosophy at Ege University, and clinical or research work in Munich, Istanbul, Balıkesir, and at Acıbadem institutions. He also holds an associate professorship in the Department of Neurology at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Faculty of Medicine.
