Nevin Sarıgüzel, MD

Clinical focus

A substantial part of Dr. Sarıgüzel’s practice concerns infections that are transmitted sexually or through blood. She assesses and manages patients with HPV, syphilis and other sexually transmitted infections, and she follows patients with HIV and AIDS. She also evaluates and treats viral hepatitis, drawing on her membership in the Viral Hepatitle Savaşım Association. In each of these areas her approach includes clinical assessment, review of laboratory results and discussion of the available management options with the patient.

Dr. Sarıgüzel also sees patients with lower respiratory tract infections and with shingles, as well as adults with other infectious diseases requiring specialist evaluation. Preventive care is a further focus of her work: she provides guidance on adult vaccination and offers travel health consultations, in which she reviews a traveler’s destination, health history and planned activities in order to advise on appropriate vaccines and precautions.

How Dr. Sarıgüzel works with international patients

Dr. Sarıgüzel consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages.
