Seyfettin Aslan, MD

Seyfettin Aslan, MD is an Otorhinolaryngology specialist at Acibadem Kartal Hospital in İstanbul, where he works in the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) unit. His subspecialty is Head and Neck Surgery. He graduated from İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and completed his specialty training in Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases at İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2022. Between 2023 and 2024 he worked at Ağrı Training and Research Hospital as part of his compulsory service. In 2025 he joined Acıbadem Healthcare Services. Dr. Aslan is a member of the Facial Plastic Surgery Association and of the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

Clinical focus

A large part of Dr. Aslan’s surgical work concerns the nose and sinuses. He treats nasal deviation and performs septoplasty to correct a deviated septum, as well as rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty, in which correction of the septum is combined with reshaping of the external nose. For selected patients with sinus disease he performs endoscopic sinus surgery. The decision for any of these procedures follows a clinical examination and, where relevant, a review of existing imaging.

His ear-related practice includes middle ear surgery, prominent ear correction and adenoid treatment. He also evaluates patients with hoarseness and with vertigo, where a careful history and examination are used to distinguish between the possible causes before any treatment is considered. In head and neck surgery, Dr. Aslan assesses conditions of the head and neck region and discusses surgical and non-surgical options with each patient according to the individual findings.

How Dr. Aslan works with international patients

Dr. Aslan consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for patients who speak other languages. Before a visit, the Acibadem international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, for example CT or MRI reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit.
